Authorised distribution
Every device we sell arrives through authorised Dr. Pen supply with the manufacturer security label untouched. That label is what carries your code.
The code is the proof
The code under the scratch panel belongs to one device and one device only. Once it is registered to your name, nothing else has to be produced to make a claim.
Matched to your order
We check the registration against the drpenstore.com order it came from, so the model, the purchase date and the buyer all agree before the record is kept.
Used for the warranty only
Your details run the warranty and nothing else. Marketing is a separate tick box on the form, it is off unless you ask for it, and you can leave at any time.
Before you register.
Does registering cost anything?
No. Registration is free and it does not change the price you paid or the cover you already have. It records your device so a claim does not depend on you finding a receipt.
Do I need to register to have a warranty?
No. Cover applies to every Dr. Pen device bought from drpenstore.com whether you register or not. Registering means the claim starts from our record instead of your paperwork.
Can I register a Dr. Pen I bought on Amazon or eBay?
No. This programme covers devices bought from drpenstore.com. If you bought elsewhere, contact our support team and we will tell you what cover you do have.
What if the scratch panel is already rubbed off?
Send us a photo of the label and your order number. If the device came from us we can match it to your order and register it by hand.
Is this the same as checking my device is genuine?
No, they are two different things. Registering records the device with us. To confirm the unit itself is genuine, check the same code on the manufacturer’s own verification page.
How soon after buying should I register?
Whenever you like. The cover runs from the purchase date on your order, not from the date you register, so registering later does not shorten it.
I bought it as a gift. Who registers it?
The name has to match the name on the order, so register it yourself and tell us in the message who will be using the device. We will note it against the record.
What happens when I need to claim?
Email support with your security code. We already hold the model, the code and the purchase date, so there is nothing for you to dig out.
